Black Forest (Double Ring Metal Engraving)

"Even simple things can be made beautiful."

Machine parts that doubled as rings for a friend, was a challenging fun blending the engraving designs with the dints and cut marks that were already present along the surfaces. One "ring" has my usual patterns while the other I tried to create an eastern forest scene. I used a rotary engraving machine with a diamond encrusted bit to engrave into the high chrome steel material.
